Chinese smartphone maker Realme recently launched the Realme 10 Pro series in India which includes two new handsets — Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro Plus. The Realme 10 Pro Plus recently went on its first-ever sale in the country. Now, the company is expected to expand its smartphone portfolio as it has already started working on its next flagship device — the Realme GT Neo 5. Rendered images of the upcoming device have been leaked online which reveals the design of the phone.
According to a report by GizmoChina, a tipster named Steve Hemmerstoffer has shared some images of the device which offered the first look at the handset. The Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone will succeed the Realme GT Neo 3 that was launched earlier this year in March. As per the report, the company is likely to skip the GT Neo 4 branding as the number ‘4’ is considered unlucky in China.
Realme GT Neo 5: Expected design
The leaked renders show that the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 will arrive with a new design language than its predecessor. The images reveal that the upcoming smartphone is likely to have a dual-toned design for its back panel which will include a black-coloured camera module while the rest of the area will have a white paint job.

The camera setup is on an elongated rectangular island that houses the camera sensors in another vertical rectangular module. The vertical rectangular module that holds the camera sensors is slightly protruding than the other one and includes two rings. The one on top houses the primary camera while the bottom ring may include two sensors. Realme may also add an LED flash unit and the Matrix AI text beside the camera.
Realme is likely to place the power button on the right panel of GT Neo 5, whereas the volume rockers are expected to be on the left edge. The leaked image shows the device in a single white colour variant which has a slim form factor and curved edges on the back panel.
