Many of you must be aware of the news of Anna Cardwell’s death. Anna Cardwell, a social media personality and daughter of TV actress Mama June, died on 9th December at a very early age. This actress was diagnosed with cancer and her mother revealed her death the very next day, on December 10. Here is her entire journey after getting diagnosed, and what was the exact reason for her sudden death?

Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 of Adrenocortical carcinoma. This news came out in March 2023 and since then this social media influencer had been active on her social media account, updating people about her healing journey. She was regularly posting insights about her cancer treatment. She went through 3 rounds of chemotherapy.

Above all, these things were giving hopes that it would get cured, but Anna’s mother, Mama June, revealed in July 2023 that her cancer couldn’t be cured. It was terminal, so no major therapy could save Anna from this very rare type of cancer. But her family continued her therapy. At the same time, they also assumed that Anna didn’t have much time in her hands.

What is Adrenocortical carcinoma?

Adrenocortical Carcinoma is a rare type of cancer which is difficult to cure. It forms in the outer layer of the adrenal glands. Severe abdominal pain is one prominent symptom of this cancer. If it is detected at an early stage, there are chances that the person can live for the next 4–5 years. Anna was at level four. It had already damaged half of her body and, thus, she lost her life at the age of 29.

On December 8, Anna’s mother posted a video on social media asking her fans to pray for Anna’s health but unfortunately, those prayers didn’t work out for Anna.
