Forget PS Plus Extra and Premium, Xbox Game Pass wins battle for March 2024 | Gaming | Entertainment

As Sony releases the latest batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for March 2024, Microsoft has announced the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass. And it’s looking like another great month to be a Game Pass subscriber, as Microsoft brings loot-based dungeon-crawler Diablo 4 to the service. One of the biggest game releases of 2023, Diablo 4 will join Xbox Game Pass on March 28. Playable on PC and Xbox consoles, Diablo 4 is currently in the middle of its latest season, which is titled Season of the Construct.

“The next-gen action RPG experience is coming to Game Pass with endless evil to slaughter, countless abilities to master, nightmarish dungeons, and legendary loot,” reads a Microsoft blog post.

“Experience a gripping story or jump straight into Season of the Construct to unearth a new threat looming deep beneath the sands of Kehjistan.”

With the launch of Diablo 4 over a week away, Game Pass subscribers can keep themselves busy with titles like The Quarry and Evil West.

Available from March 20, The Quarry is a narrative-driven horror game from the makers of Until Dawn.

It will be followed by action game Evil West on March 21, and tactical combat game Terra Invicta on March 26.

Two additional games will join Diablo 4 on March 28, including the superb Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, as well as day-one release Open Roads.

Microsoft explains more about Open Roads on the Xbox blog: “Long-lost family secrets. Hints of a hidden fortune. And miles to go before they sleep.

“Tess Devine’s relationship with her mom has never been easy, but they’re about to set out together on a journey into the past that they’ll never forget.”

April kicks off with three more games, beginning with Ark: Survival Ascended on April 1, F1 23 on April 2, and the returning Superhot: Mind Control Delete on April 3.

While I kind of prefer the VR version, Superhot: Mind Control Delete is a really unique and stylish experience where time moves only when the player moves.
