At the launch of the iOS app, the company revealed that it will soon release the Android app for ChatGPT. Now OpenAI has launched an Android app for ChatGPT. Presently, the app is available for Android users in the US, India, Bangladesh and Brazil. The company has revealed that it will expand to other regions in the coming weeks.

“ChatGPT for Android is now available for download in the US, India, Bangladesh, and Brazil! We plan to expand the rollout to additional countries over the next week,” tweeted the company.

What the Android ChatGPT app can do
As per the Google Play description, the ChatGPT app on Android can sync your history across devices and it comes with the newest improvements from OpenAI. The app will offer instant answers, tailored advice, creative inspiration, professional input and other learning opportunities. The app is compatible with smartphones running Android 6.0 and above.

How to download and use the app
For those who didn’t pre-register for the app, they can simply go to the Google Play store and download it, which comes in a 6MB size. On the other hand, users who pre-registered will only have to download a small update from the store. To install the update

Step 1: Go to the Google Play Store and search for the ChatGPT app

Step 2: Now tap on the install button

Step 3: After this, the app will ask users to sign-in the app using Google ID and password

Once done, users will be able to access all the features on the app which are available on the desktop version of ChatGPT.
