Google updated its Contacts app which included a new icon and two separate tabs — “Highlights” and Fix and Manage” along with other improvements. The latest tabs have made the Android app more than just a list of contacts. According to a report by 9to5Google, the tech giant has now started rolling out another section in the app which will help users to remember the birthdays of their contacts. This section is named “For you” and will be added to “Highlights” feed in the Google Contacts app. The “For you” section will show users the upcoming birthdays of their contacts.

Google Contacts “For you” section: Availability
As per the report, this “For you” section started appearing with the version 4.2 of the Google Contacts app. The “Highlights” and Fix and Manage” section was available for us on the same version of the app. However, we couldn’t find the “For you” section on our device. Google may be gradually rolling out the change for Android users. The latest section is expected to appear for all users in the coming days.
