How iPhone users can edit sent messages on WhatsApp
Earlier this month WhatsApp introduced the ability to edit sent messages for Android users. The Meta-owned Platform has now started rolling out the same feature for its iOS users. WhatsApp parent Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the availability of the feature through a Meta Channel on Instagram.
iPhone users will now be able to edit their text messages within 15 minutes of sending them. The ability to edit sent messages will enable the users to correct typos, make corrections and required changes and even lets users add more context to a sent message, even after sending them. WhatsApp has also revealed that the edited message will consist of a ‘edited’ tag placed next to the time stamp. Also, the Edit message feature works for both individual chats as well as group chats. Steps
1.
Open WhatsApp and navigate to a chat window where you have sent a message within the last 15 minutes.

Now long press on the sent message

After this select the ‘edit’ option from the drop-down menu

You can now make changes to the sent message and then again press the send button.
Your edited message will now appear in the chat with the ‘edited’ tag.
