Click on the Apple icon at the top left corner and head to System Preference
Then, click on the Battery icon and then again click on the Battery option from the left panel
At the next screen, click on Battery Health button at the bottom.
That’s it the next window will tell you your battery health status. If it shows Good or Normal then the battery of your Macbook is good and can last a couple of years. But, if you see a Poor tag then it is time for you to get a new battery for your MacBook.
