Google has started to release Android 14 beta for Pixel phones. The company also announced a list of OEMs, including Oppo, Vivo, Realme and Xiaomi among others that are getting support for the Android 14 beta program. Recently, Oppo announced that its Find N2 Flip will be one of the first devices to receive the Android 14 beta 1 update. Here’s how you can install Android 14 beta on your Find N2 Flip and other eligible Oppo devices.

It is to be noted that the Android 14 build is currently in the early stages of development which means that the software may not work like it’s intended to. Users must also understand that there is a risk of bricking your phone.

Additionally, updating the phone to the Android 14 beta will factory reset the phone. It means that all the data will be erased from the phone’s storage. Hence, it is advised that users backup their data before installing Android 14 beta.

Open Settings > Additional settings > Back up & migrate > Local backup > New backup > Done

The backup files will be saved to Device storage\Android\data\com.coloros.backuprestore\Backup.

Copy the files to another device to save.
