HTC has introduced a new smartphone in the U series – the U23 Pro – in Taiwan. The U23 Pro comes with a 120Hz OLED, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 108MP camera, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about the HTC U23 Pro.

HTC U23 Pro: Specifications, features, and more

The HTC U23 Pro features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Inside the centred punch-hole cutout on the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies. The U23 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded inside the power button. The smartphone also has a 3.5mm audio jack. Further, the smartphone has IP67 waterproof and dust-resistant rating.

Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset powers the HTC U23 Pro. The chipset comes paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB of internal memory. There is also a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The smartphone runs Android 13 out of the box.

The U23 Pro boasts a 4600mAH battery, with support for 30W fast charging, 15W wireless, and reverse wireless charging.

On the back, there is a rectangular camera island housing four cameras and a flash. The camera setup includes a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The U23 Pro comes with the HTC Viverese app pre-installed, and it can be used together with the VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset.

The HTC U23 Pro is now available for purchase in Taiwan. It comes in two colours – Coffee Black and Muxer White. The 8GB + 256GB storage option is priced at TW$ 16,990 (around Rs 45,535), while the 12GB + 256GB model costs TW$ 17,990 (around Rs 48,215).
