Taking newly acquired prized possessions like two-wheelers and four-wheelers to temples is not a very uncommon thing in India. In fact, most of us do this. But in a rather extravagant way, a businessman from Hyderabad Telangana did something that we may have never heard of. Recently a tweet on Twitter went viral as it showed the businessman taking his newly acquired Airbus ACH-135 helicopter to a temple to perform rituals.

The tweet shared by an ABP News journaslist, quoted, “Richie Rich of Hyderabad. Prathima group owner Boinpally Srinivas Rao purchased Airbus ACH 135 and took it to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri for the ‘Vahan’ pooja. The luxury helicopter has a price tag of $5.7M.#Telangana”

In the shared video, we can see the owner Boinpally Srinivas Rao performing the Vahan puja at the temple with the priests and his family members along with him. Reportedly former governor of Maharashtra Vidyasagar Rao, a relative of Srinivas Rao, was also present at the temple during the puja. And following the rituals they took the chopper to a ride across the city.

The ACH-135 from Airbus Helicopters is one of the best twin-engine light rotorcraft models currently available in the world. Over the course of the H135’s service life, Airbus has delivered more than 1,350 of the type to more than 300 operators in 60 different countries. The Airbus ACH-135 is one of the most sought-after helicopters in the world among upscale passenger transportation services. The cutting-edge flight deck is equipped with the Airbus Helionix avionics suite and a four-axis autopilot, while the shrouded Fenestron tail rotor greatly reduces total noise.

In terms of the powertrains of the H135, Airbus offers two engine options: the Safran Arrius 2B2 Plus and the Pratt & Whitney PW206B3. Both have shaft horsepower ratings in the 500–700 hp range. With a typical fuel load, the H135 can go 342 nautical miles at a top speed of 140 knots. Furthermore, the top-of-the-line helicopter can carry a useable load of 1417 kgs, and maximum takeoff weight of 2980 kgs, and hover to ceiling of 7,200 feet.

Dimensionally, the Airbus ACH-135 has a main rotor diameter of 34.1 feet and is 40.2 feet long and 12.8 feet tall. The cabin can be configured up in a variety of styles and can accommodate one or two pilots and up to six guests. And also as this helicopter is also one of the preferred choices for emergency services it can accommodate two pilots, a stretcher, additional equipment, and two medical personnel.

In other news, recently another Hyderabad based businessman Naseer Khan took delivery of India’s most expensive supercar – the Mclaren 765 LT Spider worth Rs. 12 crore. Through his Instagram account, naseer khan0054, the businessman posted a video of himself collecting the new Mclaren. He opted for the incredibly stylish and athletic MSO Volcano Red colour for the supercar. The 765 LT Spider first likely buyer in India is Naseer Khan. We don’t know if Naseer decided to customise this automobile in any way but still the supercar is unique in a number of ways. It is one of the quickest convertibles ever created by McLaren.
