iPhone batteries aren’t the best out there but Apple has been significantly improving with the recent models. As with every new-gen iPhone, the battery capacity increases and the iPhone 15 series is also expected to offer the same. According to a report by ITHome citing a Foxconn source, the iPhone 15 series will come with up to 18 percent increase in battery capacity.
Starting with the iPhone 15, it is said to pack a 3,877mAh battery which would be an 18 percent increase over the previous model. The iPhone 15 will come with a 4,912mAh battery (13.6 percent) and the iPhone 15 Pro is said to pack a 3,650mAh battery (14.1 percent). The iPhone 15 Pro Max which will be the most expensive in the series will pack a 4,852mAh battery. This will be a 10.9 percent increase over the previous model.

Apple has been offering colourful iPhone lineups with as many as six options to choose from. This time, it’s expected to launch the iPhone 15 Pro in a crimson red colour, according to a report by 9to5Mac citing a Weibo source. This is also the same source that had predicted a deep purple colour for the iPhone 14 Pro. The new crimson shade is said to be “very deep” so we can expect a change from the PRODUCT(RED) that we’ve been seeing all these years.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are also said to come in a new green colour option. This shade of green will be similar to the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12’s mint-like green colour. So it will most likely not be the dark forest green like the iPhone 13.
