Kodak Black has been arrested on charges of possessing cocaine in South Florida, AP reported.

According to the outlet, the Broward County jail listed Bill Kapri, the rapper’s legal name, as being booked into custody on Thursday. Records show that he has been charged with improperly stopping or parking his vehicle, cocaine possession, and tampering with evidence.

In January 2021, President Donald Trump commuted Black’s 46-month prison sentence for falsifying information on federal forms to buy firearms on his last full day in office. The pardon, supported by Gucci Mane, Lil Pump and Lil Yachty, listed Kodak’s philanthropic endeavors, including regularly handing out school supplies and food to Florida residents in need.

The artist previously served seven months in a Florida prison on charges of marijuana possession, child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He has also been previously charged with weapons possession, armed robbery, sexual assault, probation violations, and fleeing from officers.

In February, a judge ordered Black to enter a drug rehabilitation facility in March after he tested positive for fentanyl in a drug test while awaiting trial for charges relating to drug trafficking.

Last month, the rapper released the music video for “Lemme See” from his sixth studio album, When I Was Dead, with features from WizDaWizard, Wam SpinThaBin, and OG Bobby Billions. In 2018, he garnered his first Number One on the Billboard 200 as the Florida rapper’s second LP Dying to Live opened atop the album chart.
