KTM gears up to unveil the next-generation 390 Adventure. Spotted undergoing testing internationally earlier, the 2025 390 Adventure will be a thrilling evolution from its predecessor.

The test mule was now spotted just outside Bajaj’s Chakan plant and has revealed intriguing updates and design changes that hint at a more rugged and rally-oriented machine.

The upcoming 390 Adventure exhibits a radical shift in styling, resembling a hardcore rally bike rather than a road-focused tourer. Notable features include a prominent plastic beak, metal-reinforced knuckle guards, a robust metal bash plate, and a tall single-piece seat.

The slimmer profile, sculpted look and sharp lines contribute to the motorcycle’s aggressive aesthetics.

The front fascia boasts a vertically stacked LED projector headlamp, flanked by LED DRL strips, creating a distinctive horseshoe shape. The one-piece seat and tapered tail section further evoke the spirit of Dakar Rally-type bikes. The new trellis frame, subframe and swingarm add to the bike’s structural enhancements.

Underneath the revamped exterior, the 2025 390 Adventure features notable technical upgrades. The tank appears larger, suggesting a potential increase in capacity.

The single-piece seat replaces the split seat unit, complemented by large grab rails on either side of the pillion perch.

Tyres, though similar to the current model, sport dual-purpose Metzeler Tourance rubber, while braking hardware undergoes changes with an axially mounted front brake calliper and a right-side-mounted disc.
