Well, this is something that can be done, and recently, a video has been shared online which shows a Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback fitted with these unique scissor doors. Apart from these doors, the car has been extensively modified, and the owner talks about his struggles of driving this highly modified Swift in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Lamborghini Doors on a Swift
This video for the Maruti Suzuki Swift with Lambo doors has been shared on YouTube by Mihir Galat on their channel. The main highlight of this particular Maruti Suzuki Swift is the addition of Lambo scissor doors. The presenter in the video asks the owner of the car about the cost of these doors. To this, the owner replies that he paid around Rs 65-70,000 for the Lambo doors. He added that custom lights and other modifications have been done to these doors as well.
Following this, the presenter asks the owner how to operate these doors. After which, the owner explains that you have to push the door a little outside and then push it up to open. Conversely, to close the door, it has to be pulled down and then pulled inside to close. He mentions that it takes around 10-15 days to get used to this operation as it is a little different from standard cars. These particular doors open vertically like the Lamborghini Murcielago. However, Lamborghini changed the design of the scissor doors with the launch of the Aventador which opens in a wing-type style.
Other Modifications Done on this Swift
Apart from the main highlight of this Swift, the car has also been given a number of other modifications. The owner of the car mentions that he has wrapped his Swift in the color-shifting rainbow wrap which has been specially imported for this car. He mentions that when they first imported the wrap, it came out wrong so they asked a professional shop to order this wrap and apply it to their car, which costed Rs 45,000. Next up, he mentions that he has also added a new Swift Sport body kit as well.
The presenter then shows the newly added LED headlights with DRLs and other modifications. He mentions that the car has also been given a spoiler and Mini Cooper styled Union Jack styled LED taillights. Additionally, the owner states that the car has been given a full stainless steel exhaust courtesy of the popular exhaust modification shop Silencer House.

Talking about the problems faced by him because of these modifications, the owner mentions that he has been caught multiple times by police authorities. He stated that although generally police do not mind the modifications done on the car, they are extremely strict about shooting reels on public roads. He mentions that even if the car is not being driven rashly, the police authorities ask the car and the owner to go to the police station for shooting reels. This is most likely because over the last few months, a number of people have shared themselves doing stupid things with their modified cars and which is why the police authorities have become extremely stringent.
