Motorola launched its new generation of foldable smartphones in China today (June 2). The Chinese smartphone maker has launched the new Motorola Razr 40 series of foldable smartphones in the region. The Motorola Razr 40 series consists of two foldable smartphones — Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. Now it appears that Motorola will soon launch the new Razr smartphones in India. The company has shared a teaser online which hints towards the launch of new Motorola smartphones.

The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker has posted a teaser on its official website hinting towards the launch of the new Razr series. In the teaser shared The company has posted an image of Motorola Razr 40 along with the tagline ‘Coming soon in India, stay tuned’. Apart from this the company has not yet shared any other details about the launch.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra specifications
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra features a 6.9-inch internal FHD+ display with 1080×2640 pixel resolution. The display offers a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The foldable smartphone also houses a 3.6-inch external display with 1056×1066 pixel resolution with 144Hz refresh rate. The external display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 7 on top.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The foldable smartphone runs Android 13 operating system and comes with dual SIM support.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra houses a dual rear camera with 12MP main camera with f/1.5 aperture and 13MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. Front is home to a 32MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The foldable phone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the IP52 rating makes the smartphone dust and splash-resistant. The smartphone is backed by a 3,800 mAh battery with 33W TurboFast charging support and 5W wireless charging support.
