nokia: Nokia may soon launch the new G60 5G handset in India: Specs, features and more

HMD Global-owned Nokia recently unveiled two new smartphones — the Nokia G60 and X30. One of these smartphones is now expected to arrive in India. The Nokia G60 handset is likely to debut in India soon. The company hasn’t shared any official details about the phone’s India launch as well as Nokia X30’s India availability is also unknown.

The smartphone is currently listed on the company’s official website and Nokia didn’t reveal its India pricing and availability. Nokia G60 will offer 5G connectivity and is likely to ship in two different colour variants — Black and Ice. According to Nokia, the smartphone has a long-lasting build and is made up of 60% recycled plastic.

Nokia G60 5G listing on the company’s official site claims that the smartphone sports a 6.58-inch FullHD+ LCD panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness. This handset will feature the Snapdragon 695 chipset which will come paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The upcoming handset will house a triple rear camera setup that will include — a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensors. Nokia G60 has an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. This new device also comes equipped with camera features like — Capture Fusion (for more detailed ultra-wide shots), Dark Vision and AI Portraits.
