NTT DATA Payment Services appoints Takeo Ueno as CEO

NTT DATA Payment Services, an end-to-end payment service provider, has announced that Takeo Ueno will take the role of the chief executive officer (CEO) from Friday (May 12). Ueno succeeds Dewang Neralla who stepped down to pursue other opportunities. He will continue to be the consultant for the company.

According to the company, Ueno has played a key role at the time of acquisition and post-merger of erstwhile Atom Technologies, which is now known as NTT DATA Payment Services India Ltd. Ueno is tasked to build on Neralla’s accomplishments.

“I am honoured to serve as CEO at this transformative juncture. I am confident in the strength of our organisation and our team. As a company, we will continue to remain focused on becoming one of the top three payment service providers in the country through better services and superior products,” Takeo Ueno said in a statement.

Ueno has nearly three decades of experience and has expereince in banking, payment systems, card, fintech consulting, among others.
