0 43

Opera has extended the free VPN service of the Opera browser to iOS after first introducing it for Android in 2019. Opera browser now offers in-built free VPN service across all the platforms – iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and Mac.

The VPN service of Opera is entirely free and does not require users to create an account, subscribe, or install any additional extensions. Users can activate the VPN by toggling a switch in the main menu, which will encrypt their traffic and protect their IP addresses from being tracked.

The VPN service operates on a strict no-logs policy, meaning it does not collect personal data or browsing history and ensures complete anonymity. Users can access virtual locations from around the world quickly and securely, providing a private browsing experience.

Opera browser adds Bookmarks, Speed Dial, and more to iOS app

In addition to its free VPN service, Opera browser for iOS has introduced several new features. Users can better manage and organise their online activities with the Bookmarks feature. Together with Speed Dial, it provides users quick access to frequently visited sites.

Moreover, football enthusiasts can now enjoy the new Live score feature, which displays matches on the browser’s homepage, providing live updates on ongoing, upcoming, and completed games from around the world.

The Opera browser for iOS also offers a built-in ad-blocker that improves loading times and prevents unwanted ads. Moreover, the browser comes equipped with Apple Intelligent Tracking Prevention, which blocks tracking cookies, and Opera’s Cryptojacking Protection, which protects against crypto mining-related device resource hijacking.

The free VPN service will be available to some users with early access to Opera Browser for iOS. The full rollout is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. Opera browser is available to download on iPhone through the App Store. The features extend to the iPadOS version of the browser also.
