Oppo is reportedly preparing to launch a new A series smartphone with an 108MP main camera sensor. The smartphone is said to be a mid-range offering and is expected to come with some flagship features.

According to a post by tipster Digital Chat Station on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the upcoming A series smartphone is said to arrive with the highest screen-to-body ratio ever offered in an Oppo A series smartphone. It is said to sport a curved display and a single punch hole cutout for the front camera.

The tipster also suggests that the display could offer a 2,160Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming – a technology that reduces screen flickering and offers a smooth display experience. The rear camera module is tipped to feature a 108 MP primary sensor. Details of the other sensors are still under wraps.

As far as charging is concerned, the Oppo A series smartphone is claimed to come equipped with a 67W fast charging support.
