Realme launched its affordable Narzo series smartphone — Narzo N53 in India this week. The company has now announced that the budget Realme smartphone will go on special sale in the country next week.

The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that it has scheduled the special sale of Realme Narzo N53 on May 22 between 2 pm to 4 pm. Customers purchasing the smartphone during the special said avail discount of Rs 750 on the 4GB variant and the discount of rs 1,000 on the 6GB version.

Realme Narzo N53 comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Feather Gold and Feather Black colour options.

The Realme Narzo N53 boasts a large 6.74-inch HD+ display, featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 450 nits. It is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc chipset and can be paired with up to 6GB of RAM. The device offers two storage options: 64GB and 128GB, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Running on the Android 13 operating system with Realme’s own layer of Realme UI, the Realme Narzo N53 supports dual SIM functionality. Notably, it introduces the mini capsule feature, similar to the dynamic island feature found on iPhones. The mini capsule provides convenient information such as phone charge status, low battery warning, and data usage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Realme Narzo N53 features a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP main sensor accompanied by a secondary black and white sensor. For capturing selfies, there is an 8MP front camera. Powering the device is a substantial 5000mAh battery, with support for 33W fast charging. According to the company’s claims, the smartphone can reach a 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
