0 53

Rolls-Royce cars are the epitome of luxury. They have a variety of luxury car models in their line up including an SUV. The flagship sedan from the British car manufacturer is Phantom and Ghost is placed below it. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited launched the Black Badge variant of the Ghost sedan in the Indian market earlier this year. As this is the Black Badge version, this is much more expensive than the regular Ghost. Here we have a video where a vlogger shows how a Rolls Royce Black Badge looks inside-out.

The video has been uploaded by Namaste Car on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger does a detailed walkaround video of the all-new Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge sedan. This is the second generation Ghost sedan and it looks extremely good in this shade of Black. Other than Ghost, Rolls Royce has launched Black Badge versions of Wraith, Dawn, and Cullinan in the market. The Black Badge Ghost is however different as it is said to be the most technologically advanced Black Badge motor car yet.

Coming to the exterior design, the sedan looks just the same as the regular Ghost however, the manufacturer has made minor changes to the car to elevate the overall look of the car. The signature front grille, headlamps, and grille have been retained. The customer of a Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge can select from over 44,000 shades of colour. However, the one seen in the video is finished in Black. This is one of the most popular colours among customers who buy a Ghost. The manufacturer actually created a new shade of black for Black Badge and that takes about 45 kg of paint apart from the two layers of clear coat. The car gets all LED hedlamps and taillamps, an electric tailgate, 21 inch composite diamond cut alloy wheels, the spirit of ecstasy, and so on.

The car seen in the video has an Orange hand-painted coachline on it. This is actually an indication of the shade that the owner has opted for the interiors. The interior on this sedan has been finished in shade of Orange and has a complex but subtle weave of deep diamond pattern in carbon fibre trim to differentiate it from the regular Rolls Royce Ghost. The car also gets black Bolivar veneer on the dashboard and around the interior along with darkened air vent surrounds and other darkened interior trims which otherwise would have been chrome. The Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge also gets the signature Shooting Star Starlight Headliner.

The Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge is powered by the same 6.75-litre V12 engine that comes in the regular Ghost. The engine has been slightly tweaked to provide an additional 29 PS and 50 Nm of torque. The car now generates a maximum of 600 PS and 900 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. The ex-showroom price of Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge is Rs 12.25 crore. The exact price of the sedan would go up depending on the customisations.
