The Adreno 740 GPU in the Z Fold 5 is also anticipated to offer superior graphics performance.

Furthermore, the Z Fold 5 will feature 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, similar to its predecessor, but will also offer higher storage options, including a 1TB variant using UFS 4.0 technology, which is faster than the UFS 3.1 storage found in the Z Fold 4.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1, while the Z Fold 4 runs on Android 12L with One UI 4.1.1.

Both phones come with a 4400mAh battery and support 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging (WPC and PMA), and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. The two devices have no noteworthy difference in battery capacity or charging capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 vs Galaxy Z Fold 4: Camera
The camera setup on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4 is quite similar, with a 50 MP primary camera featuring OIS and Dual Pixel AF, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Both devices also support 30X space zoom for capturing distant subjects.

On the front, the Z Fold 5 sports a 10 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture, while the Z Fold 4 also has a 10 MP camera but with a slightly larger pixel size. The Z Fold 5 incorporates the same 4MP under-display camera found on the Z Fold 4.
