Samsung has found a clever way to advertise the Galaxy S24 series and its new Circle to Search AI-powered feature to potential customers in the UK. Circle to Search has been one of the most heavily promoted AI features for the Galaxy S24, and now, it’s about to become the talk of the town. Samsung partnered with Transport for London to temporarily redesign the iconic Tube map for the London subway system.

The standard Tube map, designed by Harry Beck, has been an icon of London’s sprawling Underground since 1933. But for the next two weeks, the iconic Tube map will be replaced at five key stations by a circular map designed by Samsung.

The Circle Line is a part of the London Underground system and has a spiral shape, running from Hammersmith to Edgware Road before looping around central London.

The Korean tech company saw an opportunity to temporarily rename the Circle line to “Circle to Search line” on its map and promote the AI-powered Galaxy S24 feature in a clever way.

The circular Tube map designed by Samsung is available at five stations: King’s Cross, Blackfriars, Westminster, Liverpool Street, and Paddington (via afaqs).

Samsung truly believes in Circle to Search

The Galaxy S24 series’ new Circle to Search feature is easily accessible from any screen on the latest flagship phones. It allows users to perform quick Google searches by circling objects on the screen.

This powerful AI tool works with virtually any app on any screen, including web browsers, Gallery, and even the live feed of the Camera app. The latter option can be really handy for Galaxy S24 users who travel and want to learn about landmarks.

As of now, the Circle to Search feature is available only for the Galaxy S24 series and Google’s Pixel 8 phones. More devices could get it before the end of 2024.
