This heartwarming video of a grandfather of two kids taking delivery of his Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been shared on YouTube by Dino’s Vault on their channel. It starts off with the presenter introducing Mr. Ravi, the 64-year-old grandfather. He states that Mr. Ravi is an extremely passionate motorcycle rider and is being gifted an all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 finished in Hanle black with gold accents.

Following the introduction, the presenter mentions that he has utmost respect and admiration for Mr. Ravi because of his passion. He then adds that today for his delivery he has come with two of his grandsons. The presenter also states that he has two sons.

Next up the presenter introduces another man in the showroom. He stated that he completed the Kashmir to Kanyakumari ride in just 40 hours. He adds that the total overall time was 51 hours. He also mentions that he has done the golden quadrilateral ride of 6,000 km in 68 hours. The presenter then adds that he holds the Limca Book of records for the Kashmir to Kanyakumari ride which he did on a KTM Adventure 390.

The Chennai-based bike manufacturing giant Royal Enfield launched the all-new Himalayan 452 back in November of last year. The company launched it with a starting price of Rs 2.69 lakh and it goes to Rs 2.84 lakh.

The bike is based on an all-new lighter and stronger steel, twin-spar tubular frame. It also features a bigger and wider fuel tank, which now offers a capacity of 17 litres. The bike also gets newly designed front and rear fenders and a bigger seat.

Himalayan 452

Himalayan 452 comes equipped with all LED lights including the front circular headlight, turn indicators on the front and rear, and also the rear taillamp. Another one of the main highlights of this new bike is its new 4-inch round TFT display with phone connectivity, full map navigation, and media controls. Additionally, the bike also offers multiple ride modes as well as a USB Type-C charging port.

The newest adventure motorcycle from the brand comes equipped with Royal Enfield’s first liquid-cooled engine on a motorcycle. It is a 452cc single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve setup. In terms of the power specifications of this semi-dry sump engine, it will produce around 40 bhp at 8000 rpm and generate around 40 Nm of torque. It also gets a 6-speed wet clutch, which will also offer slip and assist.
