Intel Arc A750 vs. Nvidia RTX 3060

With the launch of its Arc Alchemist GPUs, Intel is throwing its hat into the ring of desktop graphics, and for the first time in two decades PC users will be able to choose a graphics card made by a company other than AMD or Nvidia. However, Intel isn’t going all out this generation and instead will be focusing on the low-end and midrange segments of the market, which has largely been neglected by AMD and Nvidia. The Arc A750 is Intel’s second fastest GPU, and it’s taking aim right at Nvidia’s RTX 3060, one of the…

Intel Arc A750 and A770 review: new budget PC gaming contenders

Intel’s Arc graphics cards are finally here, and they’re priced to take on Nvidia’s popular RTX 3060 for budget PC gamers. Starting at $289, there’s the Arc A750 for some 1080p gaming, or you can step up to the $329 A770 if you want a little extra power for 1440p gaming. These are impressive prices as long as Intel can actually keep them this low. If it can, then pricing will really be the whole story of Intel’s Arc push.Intel isn’t attempting to take on Nvidia or AMD’s top-end cards. Instead, it’s aiming at the…

Intel Arc A770 and A750 Limited Edition Unboxed

The Intel Arc A770 and A750 Limited Edition review kit has arrived, and we're now allowed to show you pictures and videos of the kit. Of course, this is sort of dumb since lots of other places have been doing unboxing videos for a month or more, including Intel. Still, we're excited to finally have Intel's "real" competitor for the best graphics cards in the house (because Intel DG1 and Arc A380 don't really count in my book), and we'll be working on testing for the review over the coming days.Intel revealed the official…

Intel Displays Custom Arc A770 and Arc A750 Boards

While the eyes of industry observers are at Intel's Innovation 2022 in San Jose, the company is also hosting its Open House event in Taipei, Taiwan to demonstrate its upcoming Arc A750 and Arc A770 graphics cards as well as boards built by its partners. Truth to be told, there are not so many partners to demonstrate Intel-based graphics adapters right now, but at least those cards promise to deliver slightly higher performance than Intel's own cards. We already know that Intel is launching its own Arc A770 Limited…
