A Boulder landlord succeeded in obtaining an order to evict Twitter over unpaid rent, according to recent court documents. Twitter Inc., the social media giant that was evicted from its Boulder office in December, is now accused of stiffing the office’s cleaning company on the way out. Avalanche Commercial Cleaning, of Boulder, sued Twitter on Thursday in Boulder County District Court as it tries to collect $93,504 from the $20 billion company. Boulder owner of 108 Hardee’s files for bankruptcy

A Boulder-based constellation of 108 Hardee’s restaurants has gone bankrupt. Six LLCs that are part of Capstone Restaurant Group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection May 4 and recently closed 39 of their 147 Hardee’s locations, bankruptcy filings show. “Together, the debtors constitute one of the largest current franchisees of Hardee’s restaurants,” said Daniel Dooley, a financial advisor to the companies, in an affidavit May 4. Josh Ritzer, a former Silicon Valley high-tech manager, is on a mission to save Main Street by developing a digital platform specifically for small businesses. Taking inspiration from a prototype that he and a college professor worked on, Ritzer has launched a mobile app designed to draw customers to local businesses for special events or when things are slow.
