Apple's Chinese contract manufacturer Luxshare Precision Industry Co Ltd will help develop the iPhone maker's long-awaited augmented reality (AR) device, Nikkei Asia reported on Thursday. Japan's Nikkei share average ended slightly higher, led by technology heavyweights after the Nasdaq jumped overnight, while a stronger yen weighed on exporters and limited the index's advance.
