The ultimate year of Beyoncé and Taylor Swift is being capped off with one last epic crossover event. On Thursday, the music titans both appeared at the London premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, the documentary concert film capturing the creation and execution of Beyoncé’s acclaimed 2023 world tour. Swift showed her support for the musician who made a special appearance of her own at the Los Angeles premiere of the concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour back in October.

Swift arrived on the carpet in a floor-length silver gown, fitting the premiere’s chrome theme. The singer stopped to take photos with fans gathered at the event. Online, Swifties celebrated another link-up of epic proportions: Swift and Beyoncé’s respective publicists. One popular update account of X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “🚨| Tree Paine (Taylor Swift’s publicist with her red hair in image below) and Yvette Noel-Schute (Beyoncé’s publicist with head tilted at 20 degree angle in image below) have officially joined forces at the “Renaissance Film” premiere event in London!”

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé made its stateside premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. Beyoncé herself didn’t walk the silver carpet, having slipped into the showing without the extra revelry. Both Swifties and members of the Beyhive were surprised to see that Swift wasn’t in attendance but were confident that she would make the trip to London for the international premiere in Leicester Square.

“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence,” Swift wrote on Instagram in October, sharing a photo of herself with Beyoncé at the film screening. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility.”

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé opens in theaters worldwide on Friday, Dec. 1. It marks Beyoncé’s first-ever theatrically released documentary film but is the latest of many informative and pivotal entries in a catalogue of films and specials that have captured and shaped her legacy.
