The Queen’s Gambit Chess, Lego Legacy, and more

Netflix has announced that it will be adding five new titles to its platform this summer. These titles are The Queen’s Gambit: Chess, LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, Cut the Rope Daily, Paper Trail, and OxenFree II: Lost Signals.

Oxenfree II will be available on July 12 for mobile, Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. The Queen’s Gambit: Chess will be released on July 25, while Cut the Rope Daily will be added on August 1. Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed and Paper Trail are also expected to be added soon.

Netflix’s adventure game Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, developed by Night School Studio, will be released on July 12. The game is a sequel to the original supernatural thriller and features a new storyline and characters. It will be available exclusively for Netflix members on mobile devices and also arrive on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, and Mac via Steam later this year.

Announced first during Geeked Week last year, The Queen’s Gambit: Chess is based on Netflix’s popular series, The Queen’s Gambit. Subscribers can play as Beth, solve puzzles, and compete against friends. The game includes familiar locations and characters from the show.

Cut the Rope, a popular game, released a decade ago, is getting a new daily challenge version, Cut the Rope Daily on Netflix this summer.

LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed game is no longer free for everyone to play. It is only accessible to Netflix subscribers. The game was removed from various stores in February and officially shut down on April 28. It can still be played on Facebook’s gaming platform until the end of 2023.

Paper Trail is a new game set in a paper world. Players fold pages and merge paths to help the protagonist, Paige, on her first journey. The game will be available on mobile devices for Netflix subscribers and on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, PC, and Xbox in August.
