Vivo announced the S17 series smartphones in China — Vivo S17 Pro, Vivo S17, and Vivo S17t, joining the recently announced Sivo S17e. Here’s everything you need to know about the three Vivo S17 smartphones.

Vivo S17 Pro, S17, S17t: Price, availability
The vivo S17 and S17 Pro come in Mountain Sea Green, Black, Pink, and Ice White. The Vivo S17 starts at CNY 2,499 (around Rs 29,000), the S17 Pro comes with a starting price of CNY 3,099 (around Rs 36,000), and the S17t starts at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 32,000). They are available for order now and will be released in China on June 8th.

The three Vivo S17 models have a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz 60° curved AMOLED display with 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The three smartphones also have a 50MP autofocus front camera with dual soft LED flash, offering 0.8x and 2x zoom options. Additionally, the phone is equipped with a 4600mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

The Vivo S17 Pro comes with the Dimensity 8200 chipset, the S17 is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+, and the S17t has the Dimensity 8050 chipset. All three smartphones come with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of storage.

The Vivo S17 Pro has a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a large f/1.88 aperture, while the S17 and S17t have a 50MP main cam with an f/2.0 aperture and OIS. The Pro model also has a 12MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom and an f/1.98 aperture for better portrait shots. Both the Vivo S17 Pro and S17 also come with 8MP ultrawide sensors and a ring LED flash.

The new Mountain and Sea Green colours of the Vivo S17 series combine traditional painting with particle ink technology to create a dynamic, three-dimensional appearance. It features 15 million star-like particles that flow seamlessly, representing young people’s hope to explore freely. The phones also have a larger, brighter ring LED called the Aura light.
