Vivo Y02s, Vivo Y02 Jio tipped to launch in India in mid September

Vivo is gearing up to launch its other Y-series smartphone in India. The chinese smartphone maker could launch Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y02 Jio in India by mid september. The smartphone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC chipset. Both the handsets will be launched as entry level devices.

Vivo is expected to join hands with the telecom giant Reliance Jio to unveil the Y02 smartphone in the country.

Vivo Y02 smartphone recently made its debut in the Philippines.

The smartphone sports a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo Full View IPS LCD display with a 720×1,600 pixel resolution. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC chipset coupled with 3GB RAM.

The handset houses a single 8MP primary sensor and a 5MP sensor for clicking selfies and doing video calls. It comes with a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. The handset packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.

Vivo Y02s was launched in the Philippines at PHP 6,499 (approximately Rs 9,250) for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant. The Indian version is rumoured to have the same features and specifications as the Philippine version.
