The reviews have praised the actors, particularly Dwayne and Pierce Brosnan and Aldis Hodge, who play Doctor Fate and Hawkman respectively.

Mama’s Geekly’s Tessa Smith praises Dwayne Johnson, writing, “ (He) delivers one of his best performances.
