How to check all mobile numbers registered against your Aadhaar number

0 63

Every Aadhaar card is linked to a mobile number. Depending on their needs, some people may link more than one mobile number to their Aadhaar card. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) guidelines state that a single citizen may link up to nine mobile numbers to one Aadhaar card.

All of the mobile numbers connected to your Aadhaar can be checked. People can check how many phone numbers are registered on their Aadhaar number through a portal created by the DoT. The Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) portal allows telecom subscribers to look up all the phone numbers linked to their Aadhaar number. It is important to note that this facility is currently available only to citizens of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Finding out all the numbers can be helpful if you want to block any connections that are no longer active. Additionally, the phone numbers linked to your Aadhaar number can make the know-your-customer (KYC) procedure demanded by banks and other government authorities easy for you.

To check all the mobile numbers registered against your Aadhaar number, follow these steps.

1.

Visit the TAFCOP portal (https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/index.php)

2.

Enter your mobile number.

3.

Hit the Request OTP button.

4.

Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and hit the Validate button.

5.

The numbers registered to your Aadhaar number will now be displayed on the TAFCOP portal.

The portal also provides users with the option to report numbers that are not required or not in use.
