Owner asks people not to buy the Ola S1 Pro: here’s why

Another dissatisfied owner has been seen protesting against Ola Electric’s after-sales service experience after his issues were not fully resolved by the company (via Rushlane). The Ola S1 Pro owner, who hails from the city of Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, put up a banner on his scooter. The banner reads Le Mat Lena” in Hindi. When translated to English, this means, “Don’t end up buying it”

The Ola S1 Pro has complained that he has been struggling with multiple issues with his electric scooter. These issues include rattling noise and issues with the shock absorber. Ola S1 Pro’s have been known to have a design issue with the front telescopic suspension. This issue has led to some potentially fatal accidents where the front wheel has dislodged itself from the body of the scooter. Some Ola S1 Pro owners have already been offered to upgrade to a new suspension with a rectified structural design. However, in the case of this owner, the Ola Electric service centres have not been able to solve his issues.

In a previous incident, an Ola S1 Pro owner in Maharashtra tied his electric scooter to a donkey and paraded it on the streets after the EV stopped working within a few days of delivery.
