LML is willing to make a mark in India’s growing EV two-wheeler space and has opened reservations for the LML Star electric scooter without any set booking amount. The LML electric scooter is likely to compete with some established names such as the Ather 450X, the Ola S1, and Ola S1 Pro, the Bajaj Chetak, the TVS iQube, and the recently launched Hero Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro.

Sometime after its first unveiling, the company has now started taking bookings for the LML Star e-scooter. One can reserve the LML Star electric two-wheeler for no cost as the company has not set any booking amount for the same.

“We are delighted to announce that bookings for our flagship product, LML Star have begun. We are sure that the LML Star will justify our customers’ already growing affection and expectations for electric vehicles since our products are endorsed with unprecedented range, class-leading speed, and advanced technology that a rider can ever think of,” said Dr. Yogesh Bhatia, MD, and CEO, LML India.

While the details on the powertrain and pricing are still unknown, it is expected that the company will look for an aggressive positioning in the market, given that a lot of established players are already present in the space. The LML Star is also likely to be kitted out well and will include benchmarked features such as LED lighting, spacious under-seat storage, some form of connected vehicle features, digital MID, combined braking system, riding modes, regenerative braking, etc. The company also claims that the LML Star e-scooter will feature a sporty ride, adjustable seating, an interactive screen, a photosensitive headlamp, and a maxi-scooter-style design.

LML is also eager to launch another electric two-wheeler called the LML Orion and has referred it to be a ‘Hyperbike’ that will provide a light and agile city riding experience. The bike will feature an IP67 all-weather certified powertrain and a built-in GPS for navigation. The company could also introduce an electric dirt bike called the LML Moonshot. LML says that it could get a portable battery, fly-by-wire tech and pedal assist, and more. The Moonshot is also likely to be quick and could do the 0 to 70kmph sprint in what the company says to be “faster than you can imagine”.
